How does Parksie work?
If you want to list and sell a parking spot on Parksie, here's what you need to know.

Parksie is an app where you setup, manage and list the parking spots you want to sell.
|

Setup, management and listing of your parking spot is only managed in the app.
|

To begin listing your parking spots, you need to download the app and setup your profile. In the app, you can set and manage the price, the availability, the location, and the type of parking spot.

To list your space for rent, you need to geo-tag the exact location of your parking spot. Geo-tagging is how the app captures the GPS coordinates of your parking spot.

By geo-tagging your parking spot and capturing the GPS coordinates, your spot can be displayed on the map so parking seekers can see it, drive to it and rent it.

When a parking seeker parks in your parking spot, geofencing automatically triggers the app to close the parking spot and charge the parking seeker. Geofencing is how the app knows when a parking seeker has parked in your spot. A geofence is a virtual perimeter around your parking spot as identified by the GPS coordinates. Geofencing is when the app on the parking seeker's phone identifies the geofence barrier, thereby triggering the booking and payment process.

Every quarter, the money you have earned through Parksie will be paid to you. The schedule of payments is fixed to the annual calendar so payments are made April 1st, July 1st, October 1st, and January 1st.

You and only you are responsible for your property and parking spot when it is being sold for use. Neither Parksie or the Parking Seeker are responsible for your property, its contents, its maintenance, or any damage that may or may not have occurred while being used for parking.
